Outcomes turn on facts specific to you, on the county you are in, and on the discretion of people we have never met.

We take the accuracy of legal figures seriously. Every one comes from the statute it describes, carries a citation, and is checked by a person against the primary source before it appears.

Even so, statutes are amended, courts interpret them in ways that change how they work in practice, and local procedure varies in ways no published source captures. We cannot guarantee that everything here is correct and current at the moment you read it, and we do not accept liability for decisions made in reliance on it.
